ZygoHubs - the next Twitter/Jaiku/etc?

Nigel made me aware of ZygoHubs today; basically it provides a 'group wide' number to which you text. This text is then relayed to all other people in your group. So, presumably it would provide a great way for people to stay in touch as a group - and have the ability to notify everyone else by only sending one single text message.

Naturally, users of the service can belong to multiple groups.

Perhaps at it's simplest, you could create groups for your own family, and then message them all by sending a text to a single number.

Seems a neat idea to me anyway and certainly worth looking into if you're constantly texting a number of poeple at the same time (apparently Twitter only offers a broadcast feature - so you have to make sure people are subscribed to your feed, and can't send messages to select individuals, while Jaiku requires you prefix messages in some manner to target groups etc).

If you're already using

If you're already using twitter, then there's http://www.grouptweet.com/ that does a similar thing done quite cleverly.
