A week or so ago, there was some thunder and lightening (just to make our generally wet summer a bit more interesting). In the course of this "storm" lightening struck somewhere nearby, and killed our home ADSL router. (Perhaps my religious alter-ego should blame God?).

Imagine you're just about to go home, looking forward to 4 days of no work, when the phone rings....

• $Guy: Hi, I need some work done by Monday... budget is no problem, but we need it for Monday...
• $me: errm... that'll be kind of difficult seeing as how we're on holiday from now until Tuesday
• $Guy: Holiday? Oh, *pause* yeah....

My (one) dog is weird.

In what is probably a result of insecurity, generated by Kat's pregnancy, Cassie started to cause trouble when being left indoors overnight.

It started off with her emptying the bin, and then when we moved the bin into a different room, she started leaving pools of urine next to the freezer. When the novelty of this wore off (i.e. I pushed her nose in it) she moved on to rummaging through the vegetable rack, and eat raw potatoes.

So, for the last fortnight, she's slept outside.

So yesterday, I was that stupid person that took his dog to the vet, thinking there may be a problem with it as it kept scratching and biting itself all the time - only to find out it has fleas.

Annoyingly I had treated them both a number of times, but according to the vet powders are no good.....

Last night Mr Bob and Miss Cassie therefore had a thorough bath, followed by 'proper' drops etc. This morning, Mr Kacy (visitor) also had a bath and drops applied.

After receiving my LPI.org certificate and 'credit card' the other day, it reminded me to update my registered contact details with them in case they ever decide to write to me again.

On the back of the new credit card, it said : "Members account information - http://www.lpi.org/en/members".

So, being a normal person I entered in the address in Firefox, and up came a 404 style page.

(There were also other links within an enclosed letter, which again didn't work).
