New House

David's already blogged about this but I shall add a bit.

As he said, everything went pretty smoothly - I was surprised how well it went. I was staying in Bromsgrove so I got in with David(brother), Jenny and Emily at around lunchtime, followed swiftly by David, then the removal men. Everything was in by 3pm, so we got down to the work of unpacking. We broke for the evening later

The best thing about my new house is my beautiful kitchen. The things I love most about it are:

  • I have room for all of my things in the cupboards
  • I can get at everything nice and easily
  • I have room on the worktops for things like the breadmaker, which will entice me into using it more
  • We have room for our table, and can easily sit up and eat dinner in my lovely cosy room
  • We have space to be able to get a new microwave (soon)

We'll try to take some photos and get them up so everyone can marvel at our lovely new house. Then when we get round to getting it decorated, you will all be able to marvel at how it looks *even nicer* without the old people decoration!

I shall be going out this afternoon to get some curtains and other essential supplies for the house, which will decide the colour schemes for the rooms in question.

bread junkie

So, you're a bread junkie as well then?

I can easily eat a whole warm loaf in one 'sitting'.
