I'm not sure I like the black square around current section in the main bar. Certainly the bar with the menu items embedded is better than the tabs used currently :)
The search at the top is a good idea though.
Also, I'm not convinced about the folder icon in the sub menu.
Bear in mind that I'm not a designer, though!
