For me at least!
After finally geting to see David's podiatrist today, I have found out that I have very flat feet, which (and I'm not going into why, cos its very convoluted) explains why my legs ache when I walk. Clive the podiatrist says I could still do the moonwalk, but as my aching legs and painful feet have been curtailing my training, I should probably not bother because it will then take longer for my feet and legs to sort themselves out, and will hurt quite a lot. I'm a little disapointed, but that's what I expected, so I shall have to try again next year, when I've been training properly.
Apparently my feet problems have made my calves and hamstrings much too taut, so I am going to be stretching twice a day, plus before and after exercise. I can keep exercising, but shouldn't make my feet and legs hurt too much, which means keeping it down to around 1/2 an hour a day (which is fine for the moment)
In 3 weeks I'm going back to Clive to have my feet looked at for some inserts for my shoes, like David has.
I'm happy that there's a reason that I find exercise difficult (I thought I was just ridiculously unfit until I realised something wasn't quite right) and that I've got a path for making it better, even if it is going to cost money :-/
I shall update here on my feet progress, and hopefully there'll be some improvement soon.
