Drupal upgrade
Yesterday I received a few emails from Drupal.org alerting me to a few security fixes. I was a little miffed, and could see myself spending a few hours fixing the PostgreSQL compatibility with Drupal, but I am happy to say that it took about 1 minute to upgrade to the new version of Drupal, and it worked perfectly with PostgreSQL. I opted for the lazy approach of just unextracting the new release over the old one, and it worked.

One problem with your upgrade. It seems that Drupal, in common with most web apps, makes the feed look all new so feedreaders show everything as new again.
I'm not sure if it's the version number change or something but it's a pain in wordpress update sesson thank god that has just ended ;-)
drat :-/
I hate that as much as you...
Interestingly Thunderbird doesn't have that problem....

List of Drupal Upgrade Files
Hi David,
Came across your site searching for a Drupal security bug. Nice layout! The Drupal team is working on an installer that should make the entire installation process even easier. Meanwhile, I've compiled lists of the exact files that are changed by minor upgrades, so if you need to upgrade again you can simply replace the few files that were actually changed:
List of Files Changed by Drupal Upgrade
Hope this is useful,
Alex
