Try the following sudo commands instead:

sudo sh -c "/bin/echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward"
sudo /sbin/iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
sudo /bin/chmod 666 /dev/net/tun
